Let's Read Alphabet Anthologies

Written to align with UFLI Foundations Lessons 7-34 Enhance your everyday lessons with our Developing Decoders Let’s Read Alphabet anthologies. Let’s Read 1 and 2 are collections of 56 engaging passages (28 titles in each anthology) for students learning basic sound-spelling correspondences for the alphabet, with basic VC and CVC patterns as well as blends. The passages in these anthologies were created to follow the UFLI Foundations scope and sequence for alphabet skills, providing additional reinforcement of critical early reading skills. These titles create an ideal bridge between explicit phonics instruction and independent reading, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned as they gain confidence and work toward mastery.
